Singapay’s Commitment to Compliance and Integrity
Singapay operates as a payment service provider under the regulatory framework of Bank Indonesia and applicable laws and regulations. Maintaining the integrity of the payment ecosystem is fundamental to how we conduct our business. Singapay does not support, promote, facilitate, or permit online gambling, pornography, or any other illegal activities through its products, services, or payment infrastructure.
Prohibited Activities
Merchants, partners, and users are prohibited from using Singapay’s services, payment infrastructure, merchant accounts, or affiliated applications for:
- Online Gambling and Related Activities
- Accepting, processing, or facilitating deposits, top-ups, or withdrawals for gambling platforms.
- Collecting or transferring funds related to online gambling.
- Selling, distributing, or facilitating the purchase of diamonds, credits, tokens, or other virtual assets intended for gambling.
- Operating, promoting, or supporting websites, applications, or services related to gambling.
- Pornography and Immoral Content
- Selling, distributing, or promoting pornographic content, products, or services.
- Processing payments for commercial activities or transactions related to pornography.
- Other Illegal Activities
- Any activity that violates Indonesian law, Bank Indonesia regulations, or Singapay’s merchant terms and conditions.
Merchant Responsibilities
All merchants and business partners are required to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding their business model, products, and services during the onboarding process.
- Ensure that their websites, applications, and transactions do not involve prohibited activities.
- Promptly notify Singapay of any material changes to their business activities.
- Cooperate with Singapay’s due diligence, review, and compliance requests.
Our Approach to Policy Enforcement
Singapay conducts due diligence during merchant onboarding and continuously monitors merchant activities. If we discover or have reasonable grounds to suspect a violation of this policy, Singapay may, without prior notice:
- Suspend or restrict transaction processing.
- Withhold or freeze settlement funds, to the extent permitted by law and regulations.
- Terminate the business relationship with the merchant.
- Report the matter to Bank Indonesia, PPATK, law enforcement authorities, or other competent authorities.
